MASH and liver fibrosis: Clinical trials to watch.

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is a leading cause of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Conditional FDA approvals for resmetirom and semaglutide followed positive histological responses in recent trials, but full approval requires evidence of reduced major adverse liver outcomes.
